In My Gochujang Sauce Period.
Okay, wow. I’m completely hooked on this pleasant, creamy, silky, unbelievable gochujang sauce.
It’s silky and barely creamy, spicy, garlicky (!!), and somewhat tangy and salty from the soy sauce and rice vinegar. I actually simply whispered “oof” outloud as I’m reliving it in my thoughts. It’s so good.
So first, an explainer: gochujang is a pink chile paste that has its roots in Korean cooking! Gochujang will be purchased as a paste (spicier and extra concentrated) or as extra of a desk sauce (often a bit sweeter and fewer spicy).
This gochujang sauce is a dipping sauce / dressing that you just make from store-bought gochujang sauce. You then a) fall in love with it, and b) put it on salads, rice bowls, and all method of every thing. Does it make sense? It makes lots of sense to my tastebuds.
It has in a short time earned a high spot in my checklist of Favourite Sauces of 2024, and it takes all of 5 minutes to make. WHEEE! Issues I’ve used this sauce on:
